The Artisan has one deep front pocket on the inside which holds the front cover(s) of the notebook(s) in place and at the same time provides a place to store notes, photographs, swatches, plane tickets, business cards, passports, and stray paper napkins upon which you may have jotted down patentable design ideas or the concept for your next book.

As soon as you touch the smooth, sensuousness of these leather notebooks, you will be drawn to them and want to return to writing by hand.  They are so delicious and so well designed that if you see them, pick them up, open them, you will be unable to resist their allure. 

Each cover can accommodate two notebooks - the Rhodia notebooks provided are readily available in stationary, book and art stores and directly from Jul.  They are made of French paper featuring a lovely smooth texture and no bleed-through.
