Are you ready to commit to making it better than it ever was and transforming it into an expression of your creativity at the same time you repair the damage?

This class is for you.

Beyond Visible Mending is not just a technique class.  It is an aesthetic journey of crafting expressive selves through a making process that is about making meaning as much as it is about sewing seams, repair strategies, and surface embellishment. It is about developing personal style and story telling. 

Assignments include writing exercises, readings, swatching and non-traditional sketching exercises, discussion, and of course making.

This class will run for 12 weeks and meet on Wednesday evenings from 6-9 at 10 North Market Street in Frederick, MD

Class begins on May 17.  The last class will be on August 2. There will be no class on June 21.

Each student will receive a leather-bound notebook for consolidating ideas and information, access to bi-weekly Fit Clinics, and a 10% discount on all JUL accessories for the duration of the class.
