We decided to experiment with turning several of our filigree animal charms into stud buttons. This first iteration has a fairly short shaft so is best suited for fingering weight fiber and is likely best securing only two layers, though it's possible more thicknesses are possible. The second iteration has a longer shaft and may be used with the full range of fiber weights and used to secure multiple layers.
