This stud button was inspired by architectural and jewelry designs from north Africa, particularly Moroccan Amazigh brooches that incorporate hand motifs as a protective element to ward off negative forces or energies.  The hand, when facing down, symbolizes  openness to the abundance of the universe, and signifies prayers answered. We think this is definitely an energy from which we can all benefit - prosperity, protection, abundance, goodness.
