Please note - this is not 92.5 silver. These are historic pieces that were not trying to conform to international standards of metal purity. They were for local use.

These small brooches were made from 100 Franc denomination coins that were minted in the Muslim year 11372. It's currently 1445.
Though these pins are very small, I believe they may be able to be worn with very delicate and diaphanous knits. They might be best suited as a closure for knitted or crocheted lace jewelry or a delicate collar.
