These Latch components, with a gunmetal snap, work with any stud button to become a stud latch closure.  These leather add-on components extend how you can wear your stud buttons, creating an improvisational snap closure wherever you want or need it.

We recommend this larger scale latch, in particular, for our large-scale stud button designs, including Timbrel Vault, Neo-Baroque & Sequined Lace. This large scale latch also works beautifully with our Art Nouveau and Ainu Collections.

To use, remove the backing of your stud buttons. Slip the beaded shaft of the stud buttons through the holes on either side.  Slide the beaded shaft in between the stitches of the hand knitted or crocheted garment or accessory which you seek to snug or cinch, or to which you seek to add shaping or a snap closure. Replace the leather buttonhole backing to the wrong side of the fabric to hold the Latch in place and then open and close with a snap.
